Dave Crisp of the Frome Hoard fame has got a book out call "Metal Detecting All you need to know to get started". It
also features a chapter on finding the Frome Hoard. Go here to have a look.
The club holds a meeting every month where members are encourage to bring
along their finds for the monthly competition.
Members are always active and this is confirmed by the number of quality finds
that are shown at most meetings.
The meetings are regularly attended by our local Finds Liason Officer who provides information on finds and
records them for the The Portable Antiquities Scheme if appropiate.
