Club
Land
Trowbridge & District metal detecting club
relies on the generosity of the local farmers and landowners to
let the club members detect on their land.
All club members are registered with the
National Council of Metal
Detectorist (NCMD) which provides public
liability while detecting as well as having a code of
conduct which members are encouraged to follow.
As a club we like to repay this generousity by
carrying out fundraising activities for local charities and
have todate raised over £3,500 for
charity.
We have held detecting rallies on club land and
the money raised has been donated to charities like the
Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
All we need is permission to hold a rally on your land after
the crops are harvested normally September or early
October.
We do all the organising and provide marshals
to ensure everything goes to plan on the day.
We ensure all events are fully insured.
If you feel you are able to help we are always looking for
new land to detect on.
If you are a farmer or landowner that has land
available for the club to detect on or hold a fund raising
rally we would be happy to hear from you.
You never know what may be on your land - let
us find out and show you!
If you are able to help the club with land
please contact our club
officers.
